Strategies are the long-term master plan set by the organisation and aligned to the vision. They can be specific to Teams or apply to the overall Company, and typically run for 1-3 years. They’re important to get right as they help people understand why they are working on the things they are working on.
In this article we'll explain how you can create or edit Strategies for your organisation.
Please note: This is something that can only be done by an Administrator. If you are unsure of who your Administrators are, please contact your Just3Things Representative.
To begin, visit your Organisation page and click on the 'Company' button and select 'Company Strategies'. This will take you to the Strategies page. From here, you can edit an existing strategy by clicking on the corresponding 'Edit Strategy' button, or you can click on 'Add a Strategy' to create a new one:
After clicking 'Add a Strategy', you'll be presented with the following options:
'Strategy Name' - The title of this particular strategy. (This is a required)
'Describe it in more detail' - This is an opportunity to describe the purpose of this strategy. (This is optional)
'Start and End Date' - If your strategy has an end date, you can specify the duration here.
Teams, Individuals and Goal Leaders - You can specify who is responsible for the Strategy and can also highlight who is the 'Goal Leader', i.e this might be the primary person in charge of managing this Strategy.
Once you've filled out your details, click 'Add Strategy' to create your Strategy.
