In order to demonstrate your priorities as an individual, team or organisation, you can prioritise your OKRs at each of these levels. This is good for not only making it clear across your organisation what the priorities are, it's also good to help focus efforts on the most pressing OKRs.

In this article we'll discuss how you can prioritise your OKRs at each level, beginning with your personal OKRs.

How to prioritise your personal OKRs:

First, visit your profile page and click on the 'Objectives' tab to view your personal OKRs. To prioritise your OKR, click on the 3 dots next to the Objective title and click 'Make a priority' to prioritise your Objective:

Once you click on the star, a banner will appear across the top of the page to confirm your prioritisation, and a new 'Priority' tag will appear under the Objective title.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What if I want to prioritise more than 3 goals?
A: Whilst you can, we don't recommend prioritising more than 3 goals. For example, if you have more than 3 priorities, which ones become the priority? The more priorities you have, the less focus you have on achieving them as you're spreading yourself too thinly.

Q: I have set my team priorities but now I also need to set the same priorities on my personal goal page. Why aren't they linked?
A: Your team as a whole might have different priorities to you and we want to ensure you have the flexibility to declare priorities at individual & team level.

Q: I haven't prioritised 3 goals but when I attempt to prioritise a goal, I get an error message. Why?
A: If you are certain you can't prioritise 3 goals, please contact your J3T support representative.
